Today’s blog provides a short recap of a recent training we held in conjunction with HBA, and it highlights our commitment to educating ourselves and the builders we work alongside.
A Recap of Our Recent Course
Sam and Ashly recently created a continuing education course for presentation at HBA’s Contractor Forum Continuing Education Day. This annual event represents a great opportunity for regional builders and contractors to gather, learn, and network.
The course that RVI presented was titled The Insulation Solution. The course was written to help attendees understand that insulation best practice is designed with the whole home system in mind and includes three key elements: insulation, air sealing, and ventilation.
The course explored not only the benefits of insulation for the builder, homeowner, and the environment but also discussed building science solutions specific to our Northern Wisconsin climate.
Attendees of our HBA continuing education course walked away with a more in-depth understanding of insulation, and the ability to mobilize resources that will help them build better homes.
