RVI owners Sam and Ashly Hartmann traveled to Orlando recently for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders’ Show® (IBS).
IBS is a premier annual trade event for residential construction and building science professionals. In addition to being great for networking, IBS offers excellent educational opportunities, product launches, seminars, and information about new technology and trends.
International Builders’ Show® (IBS) Highlights
RVI values continuing education, and IBS always provides excellent learning opportunities for our team.
We especially enjoyed the Home Tech Zone, a new exhibit for the 2022 show. The Home Tech Zone featured a series of interactive demonstrations dedicated to new building science technologies, smart home advancements, and new ways that tech can be used to achieve healthier, more efficient homes. The Home Tech Zone included several mock “rooms” where participants could experience the products and technologies first-hand.
While at the show, we enjoyed networking with members of the NAHB. We also held a meet and greet with Small Business Growth Partners, a coaching and consulting firm that helps construction-trade industries develop their Business Diagnostic & Plan of Actions.
The Importance of Education
At RVI, we firmly believe in the importance of continuing education. The building sciences and how they relate to energy efficiency are always changing and improving. To deliver the best end-products and services to all of our clients and customers, we need to understand these changes and improvements.
As leaders in the building science field, it’s vital for us to stay on top of these advancements. We are excited to work alongside our builder and general contractor partners to put these advancements into practice as they construct and remodel homes across the Northwoods.
